Empowering Students through Discipleship in Jinja

The Bible School On Wheels project in Jinja is a transformative initiative aimed at discipling students in secondary schools across the region. This project, powered by Jesus Has a Plan in collaboration with Teach Every Nation, seeks to empower students in their faith journey while providing quality education.

Our vision is to cultivate a generation of young disciples who are deeply rooted in their faith, equipped with Biblical knowledge, and committed to living out the teachings of Jesus in their schools, communities, and beyond.

Detailed Plan for Jinja Project

The Bible School On Wheels (BSOW) project in Jinja is set to make a significant impact on students' lives. Here's a detailed plan for the successful implementation of the project:

  1. Launch of BSOW and Training of Deans:
    • The official launch of the BSOW program is scheduled for Friday, March 8th.
    • Following the launch, training sessions for the Deans of BSOW will commence to ensure effective program management.
  2. School Launch in Kampala:
    • BSOW has been successfully launched in Bunga Secondary School, a Catholic-founded institution located in central Kampala.
    • Currently, 38 students are enrolled in the BSOW program at Bunga Secondary School, and another school is anticipated to be launched within this month.
  3. Program Duration and Future Plans:
    • The BSOW program will run continuously until the end of May and the beginning of June.
    • After the initial phase, the curriculum will transition to the "70*7 Book," focusing on forgiveness.
  4. Discipleship Targets:
    • Our goal for this semester is to disciple 2500 students in Jinja.
    • Looking ahead, our target for the entire year is to disciple 10,000 students across various schools in the region.
  5. Vision:
    • The overarching vision is to disciple 1 million students in Uganda, emphasizing the importance of nurturing spiritual growth and development among the youth.
